Welcome to the Hall of The Doges, Davenport Hotel, Spokane, Washington, United States. When completed in 1904, The Hall of The Doges was called the most opulent ballroom north of San Francisco. The design concept was inspired by the Doges' Palace in Saint Mark's Square, Venice, Italy. During our 2002 restoration process, this ballroom was lifted by crane prior to demolition from the original Pennington portion of the hotel. Upon erection of the new building, the Hall of The Doges was carefully placed back in the new structure as the foyer to The Grand Pennington Ballroom, Spokane, Washington. The 2,976 square feet of space can comfortably accommodate 300 guests for receptions.
