Garthowen is an entirely new home built in the style of the original, and with all the features and comforts to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We offer our guests the choice of four rooms, all with ensuite facilities. All rooms have direct access to the outside with views of the beautiful Akaroa harbour. All guest bedrooms are on the ground floor, the guest dining room and lounge are upstairs.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or should you desire, on the veranda over looking the sea. Taste home made muesli or a condiment of cereals, homemade jams, fresh fruit (seasonal), dried fruits, nuts, plus much more. Fresh coffee or a selection of teas compliment your breakfast.
