The Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward, Wisconsin, is a unique Museum that is dedicated to promoting fresh water sportfishing as well as preserving and displaying historical artifacts relating to fresh water sportfishing. More than 50 000 people visit the Museum every year where there is something of interest for everyone, with displays of the first commercially built boat motor, classic lures and a record book with details of world record fish caught as well as line-class records for fresh water fishing. The "Shrine to Anglers" at The Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame features more than 300 mounted fish and has an interesting display of about 1000 antique motors.
