The Fontane Course at the Maerkischer Golfclub Potsdam is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course which is quite demanding but also very suited to the beginner player. The design offers a slight hill in the centre of the area, from which one can survey all 18 holes, quite unique. The Fontane Course has demanding placement of bunkers and water hazards, and sports-minded players are challenged to achieve an optimum score.
