The Flicka Foundation

The Flicka Foundation in Penryn, Cornwall, United Kingdom | Animal Welfare | Horse riding | Veterinarian

The Flicka Foundation in Penryn, Cornwall, was started when Mary Berryman, a person who is caring and passionate about Animal Welfare, rescued and cared for an elderly pony called Mickey. Following upon the subsequent rescue of distressed, abused and neglected animals, The Flicka Foundation was established as an Animal Welfare sanctuary that lovingly cares for many horses, ponies, donkeys as well as sheep, pigs, cows, cats, dogs and rabbits. Receiving charitable status in 2007 assists us in raising the necessary funds needed to run this sanctuary that cares about the health and well-being of animals who deserve a chance of living a good life in a caring environment, without abuse and fear.
