Dundee Botanic Gardens in Dundee, Scotland is a fascinating and fabulous visitor attraction with the gardens spanning 9 hectares and including an impressive visitor centre with audio visual presentations and a Coffee Shop. There's a herb garden, a Mediterranean, American, Asian and Australian / New Zealand areas as well as various glasshouses for tropical and temperate plants and three large pools for aquatics, one an indoor tropical pool with lily leaves spanning 2 metres. Dundee Botanic Gardens offers a wide range of plants including conifers, shrubs, many species of indigenous British plants as well as representative collections of important plants from all the continents of the world and more. They are committed to education for people of all ages and there's a plant nursery and gift shop, facilities for receptions and meetings and regular art exhibitions are held in the Visitor Centre.
