The Centennial Ridges Trail in Whitby, Ontario offers a 10 kilometre long hike along two high ridges with spectacular views, strenuous in parts but well worth the effort. The hike requires most of the day which will take you up and down rolling hills, and activities include Hiking and walking, picnicking, camping and backpacking, snowshoeing and backcountry and they are open year round, with washrooms and designated rest areas. The Centennial Ridges Trail is located in the Algonquin Provincial Park at km 37.6 from the West entrance of the park, and is a wonderful outdoor activity that covers all ranges of difficulty and excellent points of interest along the way as is covered by the guide book.
