Welcome to Caerphilly Tennis Club, Caerphilly, Wales. Caerphilly Tennis Club has a history of around 25 years. It is situated in Virginia Park. Close to the club is a Leisure Centre, Rugby Club, Golf Club and a Golf Driving Range. There are also plans to build a large housing complex next door to the club.
The club caters for a large catchment area, as it is the only tennis club in the borough of Caerphilly. People playing at the club come from such areas as Rhymney, Blackwood and Risca. The current membership and participation is around 180 people and has been rising over the last few years.
The club currently has 3 men's teams in the summer doubles league. It has 2 ladies teams, one men's and one mixed team in the Cymru kitchen leagues. There are also 4 junior teams. Friendlies are played at the club against other clubs.
The club has 6 courts of which 3 are floodlit. Also on the site is a clubhouse containing a kitchen and changing rooms. Entertainment is available indoors such as television, computer games, pool, table tennis and darts for adults.
Membership at the club is very cheap compared to many clubs. Non-members can play at the club as visitors for £3 and can participate in the coaching from £1.

Play Tennis events are free of charge and it is a good way of introducing yourself to tennis and being able to see what Caerphilly Tennis Club has to offer. Refreshments are available at these events.
