Welcome to Broadway West, Fremont, California, United States. Congratulations to you, our audience members at Broadway West, Fremont, California, who once again helped us select a dynamite season! With your guidance in choosing our plays for 2009, the thirteenth year in our intimate little Theatre promises to keep you as entertained as the last twelve seasons have done.
This year?s line-up includes two compelling Pulitzer Prize winners: The Gin Game by D.L. Colburn and Proof by David Auburn. We?re delighted that you also selected not one, but two favorite classics: The Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde and Bus Stop by William Inge.
For your mystery-watching delight this year, you chose the ever-popular sleuth, Holmes, who will delight you in Sherlock Holmes ? The Final Adventure, adapted by Steven Dietz. Finally, the season rounds out with hilarity as everyone will enjoy another fast-paced British farce, See How They Run by Philip King.
