Today, the Botanical Garden & Botanical Museum in Berlin-Dahlem stands on an area of over 43 hectares and belongs to the largest and most important Botanical Gardens in the world. Botanical Garden & Botanical Museum has cultivated around 22,000 different plant species.   In the 13-hectare plant Geography Department and the over 6000 square meters comprehensive greenhouses, you can rely on a botanical journey around the globe  The diverse collections live together with the collections of permanently prepared plants and extensive library is the foundation of scientific research on biological diversity and life of the plant.
