Blue Moon Cottages is a family run business located in Rye offering affordable comfortable uniquely designed accommodation for families, couples or small groups (including pets) who would like a place to stay where they feel at home and have everything that they could need to make their stay enjoyable. Blue Moon Cottages, Mornington Peninsula accommodation is 200 metres walk to the beautiful bay beaches. Only minutes to Moonah Links and the Peninsula Hot Springs in Rye, Victoria.

Our beautifully presented self contained beachside accommodation is the ideal spot to discover the Mornington Peninsula in Rye in Victoria, Australia. Choose between Shearwater Cottage, Shell Croft Cottage, The Sandpiper Cottage and St Ives Cottage as well as Ocean Blue Retreat.

Each cottage has been designed with thoughtful attention to detail, ensuring your beach holiday starts with a beautiful, quiet and relaxing location surrounded by quality and luxury. Suitable for couples, families and larger groups.

St Ives Cottage has a very large garden surrounded by paling fences at the sides and front and a wire fence at the rear. This cottage is great for larger dogs or dogs who need space to run around. Little dogs love scuttling under the house and retrieving the many tennis balls that have become lost there. The front gates do have a gap underneath them due to cars driving in and out but with a Ti Tree logs strategically placed in front of the gaps even the smallest dog should be fine. Only a 5 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

Shearwater Cottage has a large L shaped courtyard garden at the front and side of the cottage. It is surrounded by high fencing and a lockable front gate. Completely secure for your pet. There are a number of grassed areas surrounding the property also but you will need to monitor your pet as they are not secure areas. This cottage has polished boards downstairs but as there is carpet upstairs we would ask you to ensure your pet stays downstairs. We do have a gate that can be placed at the entry to the stairs if that helps. Only a 2 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

Shell Croft Cottage has a decked courtyard garden. Fully secure with high fences and walls and a lockable gate, suitable for medium to small dogs. This property is at the same location as the Shearwater Cottage and therefore shares the same grassed areas. A 2 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

The Sandpiper is our smallest cottage with a private fully secure courtyard with high fences and walls and a lockable gate. Suitable for smaller pets. This property is at the same location as Shearwater and Shell Croft Cottages and shares the same grassed areas. A 2 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.
