Thereâ??s nowhere quite like Blackpool Tower, anywhere in the UK, and it has been a magnet over the years to events co-ordinators and programme makers. The unique ambience and character of the individual rooms as well as the Tower â??topâ?? provide fantastic backdrops for events of all kinds. Commercials, documentaries and programmes such as Coronation Street, A Question of Sport and Mastermind have all been filmed at the Tower.
The Tower Ballroom and Circus Arena are also home to a wide range of special interest activities and events. The annual Christmas Tree Ball is just one of the spectacular traditional Balls hosted every year along with the International Junior Dance championships, which attracts over 10,000 spectators and participants. Line Dancing and Jive competitions are some of the other dance events held in the Tower.
