The Biddy Early

The Biddy Early in Lahinch, County Clare, Ireland | Brewery

At The Biddy Early Brewery, all beers are completely natural with no artificial additives. Other breweries use chemicals to preserve, colour, sweeten, and flavour their beers and to maintain a head.
We use the finest and freshest ingredients, sourced as close to home as possible. 95 percent of our grain is Irish grown. Bog myrtle (the herb we use to flavour Red Biddy) is picked on the mountain at the back of our Brewery, and Carrigeen Moss (a fining agent), is picked on the seashore ten miles away.
When we started to brew it, Black Biddy was the first new stout in Ireland in more than 200 years. With a rich fruity taste and a roasted aftertaste, it tastes like stout used to in Ireland. Black Biddy has received numerous accolades and received several awards.
