Welcome to Bayview Gallery, Brunswick, Maine, United States. Nearly a decade ago, we embarked on a new and exciting adventure. Following John?s career in geography and administration at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and Susan?s in accounting and financial management for major corporations and non-profits, we came to our senses and moved to Maine.
Our Camden gallery is located in a classically beautiful coastal village with a fine harbor--a popular stopping place for cruising sailing craft from all over the world. Camden has become the destination for tourists not only from nearby New England and mid-Atlantic origins but for an increasing number of guests from across America and beyond. Camden, where the mountains meet the sea, boasts an environment rich in outdoor opportunities, coupled with proximity to The Farnsworth Museum in Rockland and The Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport.
Our second gallery, Bayview Gallery, is on Maine Street in Brunswick, a town with a past steeped in the hallmarks of traditional Maine businesses: fishing, stoneworks and textile mills. Maine?s "Gateway to Downeast" Brunswick is an active community year-round and has a large enough regional population to support many local events and businesses, and a fine museum, the Walker Art Museum, on the Bowdoin College campus, while remaining small enough to attain national stature for its quality of life.
We remain true to our goals of providing our clients with fine Impressionist and Realist paintings of Maine and New England. Our Camden gallery offers museum quality framing services. Both galleries provide world-class restoration services.
