The Bauer Theatre in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, is a small, intimate, non-profit community Theatre that was established in 1974, and is located on the St Francis Xavier university campus. With much support and major renovations, The Bauer Theatre has an excellent performance space with a thrust stage, balcony, fixed seats and a comfortable lounge area. As a small Theatre, patrons are afforded excellent views of the stage and performances from all seats, and during fall and spring terms university and high school students as well as members of the local community feature in productions. Guest artists are also invited to perform or direct productions.
