Balchik Palace is a stunning complex of residential villas, a wine cellar, smoking hall, power station, monastery, holy spring and chapel in Balchik, Bulgaria constructed between 1926 and 1937. Commissioned by Marie of Romania, the wife of Ferdinand the first, the Balchik Palace also boasts a stunning botanical garden that is now state run. Built by Italian architects, and garden designed by a Switzerland florist, today the Balchik Palace is able to accommodate tourists in the villas and other building. There is also a restaurant here and it's a beautiful must see Attraction when visiting the area.
