Our facility is about helping youth through.  Back Yard Equestrian Center - Waters Drive, Crestline. Animal and Equine Assisted Learning. We use animals and equines to influence and strengthen individuals and family unity. to provide a safe, effective, fun, non-threatening approach for children and adults to grow emotionally. Helping people to experience and develop their skills so they may lead productive, emotionally stable and effective lives. Equine Assisted Therapy is a powerful and successful therapeutic approach that has an incredible impact on individuals, families and groups. E.A.T. addresses a variety of mental health and human developmental needs, including behavioral issues, Autism, attention deficient disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders, abuse issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and communication needs. Utilizing research based on knowledge and proven practices, E.A.T. is a collaborative effort between horse professionals and challenged youth. The focus involves communication, creative thinking, problem solving, leadership, work ethics, taking responsibility, teamwork, and addressing relationships confidence, self esteem, and attitudes.
