Welcome to Alexis Bar and Grill, Dun Laoghaire, Ireland. Alexis Bar and Grill, Dun Laoghaire is the brainchild of brothers Alan and Patrick O’ Reilly. Alan is a lifelong chef and restaurateur and Patrick a management accountant. Both are extremely passionate about good food, wine and service.

The concept of Alexis Bar and Grill is simple. Instead of investing in expensive furniture, glassware, linen etc, they decided to focus on produce, staff and suppliers and provide a comfortable, friendly environment where good food could be enjoyed at reasonable prices.

Having researched the idea extensively and found a suitable premises, they formed a detailed business plan. Central to this plan was the mission of the business – to keep the quality high and the prices low.

With the help of Ireland’s most well respected wine connoisseur John Wilson, they put together a top quality eclectic wine list. Having spent many weeks interviewing staff and suppliers, they selected the most passionate people to work with.

Family and friends helped decorate and remodel the premises and played a major part in completing the project on time and within budget.
