Surrounded by eight hectares of native New Zealand bush, the two year old self contained unit is close to some of of Waiheke?s most beautiful beaches; Onetangi, Rocky Bay and Whakanewha.
Centrally located, the Airfield Retreat is also an ideal base for exploring Waiheke?s world class wineries as well as being close to the Golf Club and Dirt Track and natural features contained within the Whakanewha Regional Park and Dotterel conservation area, Onetangi Forest and Bird Reserve and walkways.
The Retreat is adjacent to Waiheke?s airstrip and Whakanewha Regional Park. Waiheke Island is best explored with a vehicle with many of our guests choosing to hire a rental car or bring their own car across from Auckland for their stay. If you don?t choose to bring your own vehicle, a car could be made available from the Retreat.
